Job summary

Salt River Project is seeking Relay Technicians to support their Power System Operation Technology. This position requires experience with programming, testing, and maintenance of protective relaying systems. Candidates may qualify at different levels depending on their expertise and past training.

As part of a hybrid workplace, this role allows for teleworking but requires candidates to live in Arizona. Comprehensive benefits include a pension plan, medical insurance, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years relevant experience or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of algebra, geometric, and statistical techniques.
• Knowledge of protective relay theory and applications.

Responsibilities

• Program settings on microprocessor relays.
• Commission and validate protective relaying systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance of protective relaying systems.
