Job summary

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union in Lowell, MA, seeks a Vice President of Commercial Lending and Business Banking to lead strategy, growth, risk management, and team development. This hybrid, Lowell-based role focuses on optimizing earnings while ensuring regulatory compliance and superior member experience.

The executive will guide commercial lending, business banking, and cash management, shape pricing and market strategies, and oversee loan policy and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial credit, loan structuring, pricing, deposit growth, business banking, cash management, regulatory requirements, and the credit union and banking industry.
• Strong strategic thinking, financial analysis, problem‑solving, decision‑making, negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to collaborate and influence across the organization, manage competing priorities, work independently, translate data into concise insights, research industry practices, and balance operational and administrative requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial lending, business banking and cash management strategy.
• Develop and execute annual production strategies to improve sales, service delivery and market impact.
• Oversee underwriting systems and coordinate with underwriting and portfolio management teams.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and cross-selling.
• Represent Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union through community engagement and networks.
