Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a VMWare Engineer to design, build, and maintain an Internal Cloud PaaS platform based on VMware Tanzu TAS in Chandler, AZ. The role emphasizes enterprise-grade availability, security, and developer experience, with ownership of platform architecture and deployment patterns.

You will collaborate with automation, SRE, and operations teams to improve reliability and lifecycle management, and support onboarding and modernization of applications within the PaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience engineering or operating PaaS environments.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, application runtimes, and platform architecture.
• Familiarity with VMware, virtualization concepts, and internal cloud platforms.
• Experience supporting developer onboarding, CI/CD integration, and application runtime platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support the Internal Cloud PaaS based on VMware Tanzu Application Service (TAS).
• Ensure the TAS platform meets enterprise standards for availability, scalability, security, and developer experience.
• Own the platform architecture, configuration standards, and engineering patterns for application deployment and operation.
• Collaborate with automation, SRE, and operations teams to ensure reliability and lifecycle management.
