Job summary

Therapeutic Health Services (THS) is hiring a Substance Use Disorder Professional or Trainee (SUDP/T) for our Eastside SUD Team. This Virtual Outpatient program focuses on counseling, case management, and treatment planning for participants.

Responsibilities include individual and group counseling, comprehensive documentation, and collaboration with Medical Director and other clinicians. The role supports evenings and a hybrid work model, with duties aligned to WAC/RCW/CARF standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Social Services/Sciences or current student/trainee.
• If SUDP certified 2-3 years’ experience in counseling & case evaluation.
• Possess and maintain the SUDP/T certification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of substance use disorder, family dynamics, and counseling.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Counseling: provide individual and group counseling and synthesize psychosocial information.
• Documentation: develop treatment plans and maintain clinical records per THS procedures and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
