Job summary

Holman Recovery Center is seeking a part-time Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) counselor for Thursday through Sunday in a residential setting. You will provide direct counseling, assessments, intakes, and group services, while upholding the center’s standards and ASAM guidelines.

The role requires WA DOH SUDP certification or trainee status, a strong commitment to abstinence-based recovery, and relevant education/experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to assess and document patient needs and progress
• Knowledge of WA state SUDP requirements and ASAM criteria
• Experience coordinating care across treatment teams

Responsibilities

• Organize and provide direct counseling services in residential setting
• Conduct program orientation, individual and group counseling, assessments and intakes
• Serve as primary case manager and coordinate care with staff and external providers
• Maintain patient records per ASAM and facility procedures
• Prepare progress reports for courts, probation, families and referral sources
• Attend staff meetings and trainings; supervise SUDPT trainees when assigned
