Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC) is seeking a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP/SUDPT) to provide client-centered care for individuals with SUD, in locations including Steven's Place, Clover Place, and Birch Grove. The role operates on day shifts with Saturday and Sunday days off, within a unionized environment under SEIU Healthcare 1199NW.

The SUDP/SUDPT collaborates with care teams across housing and clinical services, provides assessments, ISP creation, and coordinated care

Competenze

• Licensed by the State of Washington as a Substance Use Disorder Professional or SUDP Trainee.
• For SUDPT: enrolled in educational program to meet requirements; associate degree needed for full licensure.
• Experience engaging difficult client populations and coordinating care.

Mansioni

• Perform substance use disorder assessments and intake evaluations.
• Develop ISP with clients and coordinate care within and outside DESC.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and weekly learning academy.
• Coordinate care conferences and participate in QA/QI meetings as needed.
• Maintain timely documentation and participate in trainings.
