The Paw Patch Veterinary Hospital in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Veterinary Assistant / Client Service Representative to join our team in a full-time hybrid capacity. The role combines front-desk CSR duties with hands-on patient care, split roughly equally each week, with flexibility to cover for illness or staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Veterinary hospital experience strongly preferred, across client service and clinical support.
• Excellent communication, organization, customer service and multitasking skills.
• Calm, compassionate approach with clients, patients and coworkers.
• Comfort with computers and practice software; DaySmart experience is a plus.
• Basic veterinary terminology, vaccine and preventive care knowledge preferred.

Responsabilités

• Welcome clients and patients; answer calls, messages and questions with professionalism and empathy.
• Schedule appointments, check patients in and out, process payments and maintain accurate records.
• Help triage client concerns and communicate promptly with the medical team.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area.
• Run exam rooms, obtain patient histories, and assist veterinarians during examinations.
• Coordinate care with the veterinarian and veterinary technicians.
