Job summary

Amerisure, a leading property and casualty insurer, seeks a UX Designer to shape customer and employee experiences in a hybrid role from Farmington Hills, MI. You will champion user-centered design, map journeys, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive digital experiences across the product lifecycle.

Responsibility includes conducting usability studies, articulating design decisions, and contributing to the enterprise design system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated technical field experience is required.
• 3+ years in user-centered design with digital and end-to-end process design.
• 3+ years leading UX conversations in a collaborative team setting.
• Experience with user testing platforms preferred.
• Experience building components for design systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design thinking and user-centered design across product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with users, product owners, and stakeholders to define experience vision.
• Translate journeys into end-to-end business and system processes.
• Map current and future-state processes with product, engineering, and business teams.
• Align UX outputs with enterprise workflows and data flows.
• Champion UX principles and drive transformation initiatives.
• Visualize experiences via wireframes, flow maps, and prototypes.
• Leverage research, usability testing, personas, and analytics to inform design decisions.
• Develop and evolve the enterprise design system for consistency.
