Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of retail banking experience in Teller/Customer Service.
• General understanding of banking operations (risk, compliance, fraud, loss) preferred.
• Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.
• Ability to learn banking products and services in detail.
• Willingness to cross-train in other branch functions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Professional and confident demeanor with customers.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a friendly, professional manner.
• Explain product features and benefits to current and prospective clients.
• Identify opportunities to deepen banking relationships and refer to licensed representatives when appropriate.
• Open new accounts and handle teller operations following policies.
• Maintain vault, ATM, and branch equipment and keep the customer area organized.
• Educate customers on disclosures, FDIC protections, and account requirements.
• Ensure accurate new account records and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in training new tellers and staff as needed.
