Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
5+ years of Workers' Compensation experience, commercial lines a plus.
Experience with Excess Workers' Compensation pricing and coverage.
Ability to interpret and analyze data to make risk decisions.
Ability to train, coach and mentor others.

Responsibilities

Solicit, underwrite, and retain a profitable book of business with solid risk analysis, pricing and servicing.
Collaborate with the territory team and management on issues and competitive information.
Develop broker relationships with internal/external sales and marketing teams.
Educate brokers on underwriting appetite to attract profitable business.
Travel 20-40% of the time within the territory or to the Home Office.
Plan and participate in industry events and provide timely communications.
Provide information to operations staff to process coverage requests per guidelines.
Share competitive market information and stay current with market trends.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
