Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate insurance applications and related documents to classify risk and determine premiums.
• Gather information to ensure thorough risk assessment.
• Review renewal business and recommend actions to meet objectives for premium and loss ratio.
• Prepare and review quotations for accuracy before presenting to clients.
• Approve coverages within authority or refer with recommendations; decline when necessary.
• Review program policy forms for consistency.
• Manage a book of business with goals for production, revenue, rate increases, and underwriting audit results.
• Complete underwriting projects as directed by the Underwriting Director and Senior VP.
