Job summary

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Technical Field Representative to support the Flexrotor UAS platform, split between remote technical support and hands‑on global field integration. You will drive customer success, solve complex technical challenges, and influence future aircraft engineering.

Based in the Columbia River Gorge, WA, the role requires 50% travel domestically and internationally, with a comprehensive benefits package and relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate Degree in aircraft engineering, business administration, or related field and/or equivalent work experience (2 years).
• Five (5) or more years’ experience in Aerospace, UAS, Software or Hardware industry.
• Evaluating and interpreting contracts, data deliverables, and procedures.
• Working with cross‑functional teams and customers in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to perform and present technical and metric oriented data in a clear and concise format.
• Operational knowledge of aeronautics/aviation industry.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support & Customer Interface: Provide customer support and troubleshooting via phone, email, or technical databases; main hotline contact; interface with Engineering and other departments.
• Maintenance, Component, and Service Recommendations: Analyze field issues; suggest product modifications and maintenance updates; collaborate on service bulletins and guides.
• Field Support, Integration, and Demonstration: Deploy to customer sites for integration, testing, and setup; train maintenance personnel and UAS operators.
