Job summary

Zurich North America is hiring a UA Associate to join the Domestic Casualty team. You will support experienced underwriters by reviewing and analyzing risks, applying research and analytical skills to assess exposure and inform decisions.

This hybrid role reports to the North America office in Los Angeles, CA, with in-person collaboration when meaningful. Core duties include risk reviews, policy rating, scheduling endorsements, and end-to-end servicing for new business and renewals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; no prior experience required in administrative, customer service, financial services, risk management, or insurance.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with Associate Degree as alternative qualification.
• High School Diploma with 2+ years in administrative, customer service, financial services, risk management, or insurance.
• Knowledge of data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and summarizes risk exposures and loss history to aid underwriting decisions.
• Assist in policy rating, pricing, and policy construction tasks.
• Provide servicing for new business, renewals, and endorsements.
• Respond to inquiries under supervision and collaborate with underwriters.
• Support broker/agent interactions with basic customer service.
