Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Reviews, negotiates and endorses financial provisions of clinical research agreements and proposals to ensure compliant budgeting.
• Develops Medicare Coverage Analyses (MCAs) for applicable studies.
• Collaborates with Principal Investigators, study teams, Compliance Office, IRB, Risk Management and other offices to ensure compliant sponsored research.
• Provides guidance on sponsor policies and government regulations.
• Maintains data on work progress for MSOM leadership and departments’ research administration.
• Ensures consistent, efficient pre- and post-award processes.
• Keeps current on professional information by attending trainings and monitoring updates from relevant agencies.
• Assists MSOM leadership with special projects as needed.
• Adheres to University and unit-level policies and safeguards assets.
