Job summary

The University of Miami invites applications for a full-time Manager, Clinical Trials Activation to lead a defined team and oversee budgeting, MCAs and financial terms for research agreements at the Don Soffer Clinical Research Center in Miami, FL.

In this hybrid role, you will drive process improvements, mentor staff, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure compliance with sponsor policies and university guidelines throughout the lifecycle of sponsored projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Leads assigned team members with day-to-day mentorship and oversight.
• Trains, mentors and supervises staff; prepares performance reports.
• Prepares Medicare Coverage Analyses and negotiates budgets and terms of research agreements.
• Collaborates with leadership on short- and long-range program objectives.
• Creates reports and performs data analyses related to team performance.
• Monitors budgets and coordinates day-to-day work distribution.
• Collaborates with internal and external entities to ensure compliance with UM policies and external guidelines.
• Provides ongoing mentorship to analysts and participates in hiring and onboarding.
