Turner Henningsen Wolf & VanDenburg, LLP seeks an experienced Trial Paralegal to support our legal team in complex civil matters within automotive and consumer warranty defense. You will conduct in-depth legal research, draft documents, and manage case files while collaborating with attorneys and staff.

The role requires knowledge of CCP/CRC, trial preparation, exhibit management, and the ability to work with attorneys and court personnel under tight deadlines.

Qualifikationen

• CA paralegal requirements and ABA-approved program option.
• 3+ years in litigation as a paralegal, preferably automotive/consumer warranty.
• Familiar with CCP, CRC, and e-filing for CA courts.

Aufgaben

• Draft legal documents such as notices, objections, joint continuances, and trial calendars.
• Manage strict trial deadlines per CCP/CRC and local rules.
• Prepare joint pretrial statements, witness lists, exhibit lists, and jury instructions.
• Prepare trial binders, MILs, and exhibit binders.
• Coordinate trial tech setup with graphics vendors or software.
• Manage courtroom logistics, binders, electronics, and evidence.
• Operate presentation software and track exhibits in real time.
• Serve as liaison between trial attorney, office, and court clerk.

Kenntnisse

Paralegal certification or ABA-ABA

3+ years litigation paralegal

CCP/CRC e-filing familiarity

MS Office & Adobe Acrobat

Bates stamping knowledge

Trial software experience
