Job summary

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) in Union Gap, WA is seeking a Transportation Technician 3 (In-Training) to support the SCR highway construction program by monitoring project information, budgets, schedules, and reporting.

You will maintain data in program management systems, assist with funds and work orders, and help ensure accuracy and timely responses for region and headquarters staff.

• Assist and coordinate SCR project control duties.
• Prepare work orders for state, federal, and local funds.
• Manage work order setups, changes, and transfers.
• Review HQ work orders and groups for accuracy.
• Input and maintain project data in program management software.
• Review federal funding and update the Activity Schedule.
• Support regional workforce projections with supervision.
