Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Transportation team in Marlborough, MA. The role leads a portfolio of complex traffic projects, coordinating with planners and engineers to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

Required is a MA PE with 10+ years of transportation design experience, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in client engagement. The position offers a hybrid work model (40% office, 60% remote) with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed Massachusetts State Professional Engineer (PE) with 10+ years of transportation design experience.
• Experience managing transportation projects and leading project teams.
• Familiar with MassDOT design and permitting requirements and the MEPA regulatory process.
• Active driver's license with clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage traffic engineering projects to meet quality, schedule, and budget objectives.
• Serve as primary client contact with agencies and stakeholders.
• Prepare and review technical reports, traffic studies, and design plans.
• Oversee traffic analysis using Synchro, VISSIM, HCS or similar tools.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to technical staff.
