Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Traffic Project Manager to join our Civil/Traffic team in Boston. You will lead traffic engineering efforts, perform technical analyses, and oversee documentation related to traffic safety and operations for state and local agencies.

You'll manage project work plans, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and coordinate with public agencies. This role offers a hybrid schedule and opportunities to influence high-visibility infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in civil transportation and traffic engineering.
  • PE license in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain within one year).
  • Experience with public agencies or municipalities preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of traffic analysis, safety, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

About the Role

Seeking a Traffic Project Manager to join our Civil/Traffic team. In this role, you will support a variety of transportation projects for state and local agencies. You'll lead traffic engineering efforts, perform technical analysis, and oversee the delivery of project documentation related to traffic safety and operations.

What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in civil transportation and traffic engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain within one year)
  • PTOE certification preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Experience working with public agencies or municipalities (state DOT experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of traffic analysis, safety, and operational standards
  • Proficiency with tools such as CADD, Synchro, HCS, SIDRA, Vissim (or similar)
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing budgets and schedules
  • Ability to work independently and produce high-quality deliverables

Compensation

Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and location. Total compensation may include base salary, overtime, and performance-based bonuses.
