Job summary

We’re seeking a Project Manager to join Tighe & Bond’s Transportation team in Manchester, NH. You will lead roadway design projects, manage budgets and schedules, and serve as the primary client liaison with state DOTs and municipalities.

Ideal candidates hold a PE license, a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, and 10+ years in transport engineering with project leadership experience. This role offers a hybrid work environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• 10+ years in transportation engineering with roadway/highway design.
• Proficiency in design software and DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and execution of roadway projects including new construction and corridor improvements.
• Serve as primary client liaison and manage expectations.
• Oversee budgets, scopes, schedules, and resources to deliver on time and within budget.
• Provide technical leadership on roadway geometry, drainage, and traffic elements; review reports and permits.
• Ensure compliance with AASHTO, MUTCD, FHWA, and DOT standards.
• Coordinate with municipalities, state agencies, and utilities.
• Mentor junior staff and support growth; assist business development.
