Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Transportation Project Manager to join our team in a hybrid role, splitting time between remote work and on-site activities. You will manage a variety of transportation projects, including road/highway design, traffic engineering, transit initiatives, and pedestrian/cycle facilities, while upholding DOT regulations.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree, 6+ years in transportation project management, PE license, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of transportation engineering experience focused on project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensed required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations and guidelines.
• Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee design and implementation of transportation projects on time and within budget.
• Use AutoCAD and MicroStation for design and drafting work.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and government agencies for project execution.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare cost estimates and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
• Troubleshoot project issues and mentor junior engineers.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers as needed.
