Job summary

Univar Solutions USA Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver and Operations Recruiter to partner with hiring managers and attract top talent across US time zones.

This hybrid role reports to the Manager of Talent Acquisition and is based at our corporate headquarters in Downers Grove, IL. You will lead full-cycle recruiting for transportation and operations roles, build strong pipelines, and deliver a top-tier candidate experience while advising leaders on market trends and compensation insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience supporting high-volume CDL driver and warehouse hiring.
• Direct sourcing, candidate engagement, and talent pipelining.
• Influence and consult leaders throughout the hiring process.
• Evaluate talent, develop offers, and close candidates.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency with ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern sourcing tools.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for transportation and operations roles.
• Partner with managers to understand talent needs and hiring strategies.
• Build and maintain high-quality pipelines via sourcing, networking, referrals, and market research.
• Assess candidates and provide recommendations based on skills and fit.
• Consult leaders on market trends, compensation insights, and best practices.
• Facilitate interviews, debriefs, and hiring decisions to keep process efficient.
• Develop and negotiate competitive offers to secure top talent.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the journey.
