Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a CDL Driver and Operations Recruiter to partner with hiring managers across US time zones and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. You will own the full recruiting lifecycle for transportation and operations roles, from sourcing to close, while building strong talent pipelines.

In this hybrid role, you will influence leaders, negotiate competitive offers, and drive process improvements using recruiting metrics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience supporting high-volume CDL driver and warehouse hiring.
• Strong expertise in direct sourcing, candidate engagement, and talent pipelining.
• Ability to influence and consult business leaders throughout the hiring process.
• Experience evaluating talent, developing offers, and successfully closing candidates.
• Excellent communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for transportation and operations positions, from sourcing and candidate engagement through offer negotiation and close.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop effective hiring strategies.
• Build and maintain high-quality talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, and market research.
• Assess candidates and provide recommendations based on skills, experience, and organizational fit.
• Consult leaders on talent market trends, compensation insights, and hiring best practices.
• Facilitate interviews, debriefs, and hiring decisions to ensure an efficient and effective recruitment process.
• Develop and negotiate competitive offers to secure top talent.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
• Leverage recruiting metrics and market data to drive continuous improvement.
