Wilson Elser is seeking a Transportation Litigation Attorney for our Houston office. The ideal candidate will handle litigation matters for a large international logistics provider, with a focus on transportation regulations and emerging legal issues.

This role offers a proactive environment with strong collaboration across national offices, opportunities to manage matters from start to finish, and a hybrid work arrangement to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active admission to practice in the State of Texas.
• Minimum 3+ years of general casualty litigation experience.
• Experience with transportation and logistics, trucking, and related regulatory issues preferred.
• Deposition and motion practice experience required; trial experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Proactively manage a litigation caseload under supervision of senior attorneys.
• Perform legal research and analysis on transportation laws, regulations, and standards.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and related documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues across offices to support a cohesive team environment.
• Prepare client-facing case analysis reports with proactive resolution strategies.
