Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in New Jersey.
• 3–8 years of general casualty litigation experience.
• Transportation/logistics and regulatory experience preferred.
• Experience with emerging e-commerce / gig economy issues preferred.
• Deposition and motion practice experience required.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Superior analytical skills.
• Sophisticated technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a litigation caseload under supervision by senior attorneys.
• Conduct legal research related to transportation laws, regulations and standards.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions and mediations.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices.
• Draft case analysis reports for client stakeholders.
