Wilson Elser is seeking a Transportation Litigation Attorney for our New York office. The role involves handling litigation for a large international logistics client, with a focus on transportation sector regulations and emerging ecommerce issues.

Formación

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in New Jersey.
• 5–10 years of general casualty litigation experience.
• Transportation and logistics, trucking, and related regulatory experience preferred.
• Experience with emerging e-commerce / gig economy legal issues preferred.
• Deposition and motion practice experience required.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Superior analytical skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Sophisticated technical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Under supervision of senior attorneys, manage a litigation caseload from start to finish.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on transportation laws, regulations, and standards.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients with strong advocacy.
• Collaborate across departments and offices to support team success.
• Draft case analyses for client stakeholders with proactive strategies.
