Qualifications

• JD from ABA accredited law school.
• Texas bar admission is required to practice in Texas.
• 3+ years of general casualty litigation experience.
• Transportation/logistics and related regulatory experience preferred.
• Deposition and motion practice experience required.
• Trial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage a litigation caseload from start to finish under supervision.
• Conduct legal research on transportation laws, regulations, and standards.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients with strong negotiation skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices to support cases.
• Prepare case analysis reports for client stakeholders to aid proactive resolution strategies.
