KPFF Consulting Engineers is seeking a Transportation Project Engineer in Seattle to support a full lifecycle of civil transportation projects, from pursuit through construction. You will work with project managers and design teams to ensure technical excellence and schedule adherence.

Candidates should have 4+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and/or MicroStation, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; EIT preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of civil/transportation design experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D and/or MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to diverse projects, collaborating with teams to develop project specific solutions.
• Prepare design plans, reports, cost estimates, and technical analyses as part of multidisciplinary project teams.
• Gain experience in ensuring regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle, including understanding regulations and permitting requirements.
• Continue to advance AutoCAD Civil3D modeling skills.
• Assist managing project tasks, ensuring efficient coordination of timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Foster strong client relationships by actively listening to client needs, providing clear communication, and delivering customized solutions that align with their objectives.
