Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Project Administrator for our CEI team in Northwest Florida (Tallahassee, Chipley, Pensacola, Gainesville). You will work under a Senior Project Engineer or Construction Manager and provide on-site technical management for transportation projects in Florida.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree and Florida project administration experience, plus CTQP Final Estimates Level II and FDOT MOT certs. Hybrid work and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Two years of engineering experience in major road or bridge construction; or eight years with high school diploma.
• Florida project administrator experience required.
• CTQP Final Estimates Level II qualification required.
• FDOT Advanced MOT certification required.
• Experience with Florida standards (MAC, EEO, change orders, estimates) is preferred.
• Willingness to attend CTQP Quality Control Manager Course and pass the exam.
• CFX experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs and assigns tasks to administrative staff, contract support specialists and inspectors.
• Assists in all phases of the construction projects.
• Responsible for progress and final estimates throughout project duration.
• Performs internal quality assurance reviews to promote contract compliance and CEI staff performance.
• Provides on-site technical management for transportation construction projects.
