Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a CEI Project Administrator/Project Engineer in Florida. You will manage records, coordinate between owners, contractors, and inspection staff, review inspection reports, and track progress on transportation projects.

A hybrid schedule is available, with exposure to active job sites and opportunities to influence FDOT-compliant infrastructure. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education/experience;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 4+ years of transportation project experience, or high school diploma with 8 years.
• Experience as Project Administrator, Assistant Project Administrator or Contract Support Specialist in transportation projects.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to navigate active construction sites.
• Strong oral and written communication and ability to interpret client contracts.
• CTQP Final Estimates Level II, FDOT Advanced MOT, and/or CTQP Quality Control Manager credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain precise records of plans, documents, and submittals per FDOT guidelines.
• Coordinate between owners, contractors, and inspection staff to keep everyone aligned.
• Review daily inspection reports and quantity computations for accuracy and compliance.
• Review and distribute contractor submittals to meet contract requirements.
• Track contract progress, maintain project tracking logs, and prepare monthly progress estimates.
• Assign tasks to inspectors and support all phases of project execution.
• Ensure all activities align with FDOT policies and CPAM.
