Job summary

EXP is seeking a Project Administrator to join its Transportation Construction Services team in Florida. You will lead CEI construction administration efforts, coordinate a multidisciplinary group, and ensure project alignment with FDOT standards.

The role requires a degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management, plus 2+ years of relevant transportation project experience. A Florida PE license is preferred, and a Master’s degree can substitute for one year of

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida preferred.
• Minimum of two years of engineering experience on relevant transportation projects; Master’s may substitute for one year.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; eight years CEI/road/bridge experience if no relevant degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all phases of CEI construction administration.
• Direct and assign work to administrative and field staff.
• Provide leadership and guidance throughout transportation construction projects.
• Prepare, review, and manage progress estimates and final estimates.
• Exercise independent judgment and initiative in resolving project-related issues and challenges.
• Ensure compliance with FDOT standards, specifications, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and construction records.
• Communicate effectively with FDOT representatives, contractors, consultants, and project team members.
