Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer in Raleigh, NC to provide mid-level engineering support on complex electric transmission design projects for high-voltage overhead systems. You will assist with line routing, structure design, and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of transmission line engineering experience in electric utility
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
• Self-starting and capable in unstructured, deadline-driven environments
• Collaborates effectively with team members in the electrical utility industry
• Demonstrated ability to apply engineering theories and principles
• Experience liaising with substation, transmission, environmental, real estate, construction and maintenance stakeholders
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD for transmission line design
• Familiarity with design codes such as NESC, IEEE, ASCE, ACI

• Schedule project tasks for project support team
