Job summary

Jefferson County is seeking a Training Supervisor to lead the Community Assistance Division's training and employee development program. You will supervise Trainers and temporary staff, ensuring consistent, practical learning experiences that prepare teams for accurate, timely work and successful onboarding.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, adult learning, and collaboration with supervisors and QA to improve training quality. Hybrid work and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of work-related experience in Eligibility Programs or Human Services.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with CBMS and public assistance eligibility processes (preferred).
• Experience developing, facilitating, and evaluating training programs for adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Lead CAD training and employee development programs for Trainers and Eligibility Specialists.
• Set expectations, coach staff, monitor performance, and ensure timely, accurate work.
• Oversee classroom management and instructional quality across training programs.
• Develop ongoing training for seasoned staff and respond to policy, system changes.
