Job summary

AECOM is seeking a well-qualified Traffic or ITS Engineer to support hybrid roles across the Greater Midwest and Greater Southwest. You will deliver traffic analysis, forecasting, safety studies, and ITS projects, collaborating with teams and clients to shape communities.

Minimum BA/BS and 4 years' experience; PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months; strong communication skills; proficiency with traffic simulation software and design platforms.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Support a team of professionals to deliver traffic/ITS projects.
• Perform traffic analysis, forecasting, safety studies, and traffic simulations.
• Prepare plan sheets, specifications & estimates, memoranda, reports and presentations.
• Coordinate with other discipline groups and external clients/sub-consultants.
• Review technical work and project documentation with Early in Career staff.
• Deliver tasks on schedule and budget while adhering to quality standards.
