Job summary

AECOM is seeking a well-qualified Traffic or ITS Engineer to support a hybrid role across multiple offices in the Greater Midwest and Greater Southwest. This position offers meaningful local and regional impact as part of a dynamic team delivering high-profile projects that shape communities.

We value a BA/BS with 4 years of related experience; preferred 5+ years in civil engineering with traffic/ITS focus, plus strong written and verbal communication skills and opportunity toward PE licensure.

Qualifications

• BA/BS and 4 years of relevant experience demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct traffic analysis, forecasting, safety studies, and traffic simulation.
• Prepare plan sheets, specifications & estimates, technical memoranda, reports, and presentations.
• Support ITS or emerging technology projects following systems engineering processes.
• Act as a team member on traffic/ITS projects and deliver assigned tasks on schedule and budget.
