Job summary

AECOM is seeking a well-qualified Traffic or ITS Engineer to support a hybrid role across the Greater Midwest and Greater Southwest. You will work on traffic analysis, planning, ITS projects, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-profile transportation solutions.

Ideal candidates hold a BA/BS in civil engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months, and strong written/verbal communication. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in civil engineering or related field with 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with traffic/ITS projects and design platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct traffic analysis, forecasting, safety studies, traffic simulation, and conceptual planning/design.
• Prepare plan sheets, specifications, estimates, reports and presentations.
• Lead ITS or emerging technology projects following engineering processes.
• Take roles on traffic/ITS projects and contribute to technical deliverables.
