Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. seeks an Entry Level Transportation Engineer (Traffic) / Traffic Engineer-In-Training in TX. You will contribute to traffic operations, safety analyses, corridor studies, and design tasks across multiple Texas offices.

You’ll use Synchro, Vissim, HCS, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD while supporting municipal, state, and federal clients on data-driven projects. Internship experience is valued, with a path toward PE/EIT progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• EIT certification or on track to obtain.
• Internships or work experience in traffic/transportation engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform traffic analyses and prepare reports.
• Support civil design calculations, sketches, and drawings.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, OpenRoads, etc.
• Utilize traffic simulation tools like Synchro and Vissim.
• Assist project engineers and communicate with clients.
• Collaborate with project team to ensure quality and timeliness.
