Jacobs is seeking a Transportation/Traffic Engineering student to contribute to municipal, state, and federal projects in the San Antonio, Austin, or Houston offices. You'll assist in data collection, analyses, and design tasks across traffic operations, safety studies, and corridor projects.

The role involves using tools like AutoCAD, Synchro, and Vissim, with opportunities to work on design decisions and client communications.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in transportation.
• Interest in Traffic.

Responsibilities

• Perform traffic analysis tasks such as data collection, reporting analysis results, and writing technical reports.
• Perform civil design calculations, sketches, drawings, technical comparisons and similar technical work.
• Demonstrating proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Openroads, etc.), traffic simulation software like Synchro, Vissim, and other office production software.
• Researching design options and documents findings for project engineers and/or project managers.
• Assisting with duties assigned by project engineers and/or project managers.
• Maintaining effective communication with project team members and with clients.
