Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.
• E.I.T certification or plan to obtain PE preferred in the future.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, GIS, and Office products preferred but not required.
• Experience with traffic analysis software and capacity studies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in collecting and assimilating traffic data for traffic engineering studies.
• Perform capacity analysis using traffic engineering software for various studies.
• Conduct traffic safety studies for municipal and DOT clients.
• Develop geometric alternatives to improve operations and safety.
• Prepare design plans for traffic management during construction and signaling.
• Organize analysis results into reports following agency standards.
• Conduct field or site visits as needed.
