Benesch in Kansas is looking for a Traffic Designer to join their growing Traffic team. This role involves working on transportation projects with state and local agencies, performing engineering analyses, and preparing traffic design plans.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, be familiar with traffic engineering software, and possess strong communication skills. A hybrid work schedule is available.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.
• E.I.T (or desire to obtain P.E. in the future) preferred.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, GIS, or Microsoft Office products is preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Participate in collecting and assimilating traffic data for engineering studies.
• Conduct traffic safety studies for municipal and DOT clients.
• Develop design plans for traffic management during construction.

Kenntnisse

Traffic engineering software knowledge (Synchro, Highway Capacity Software, Sidra, Vissim)

Team collaboration

Excellent communication skills

Ausbildung
