Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Trademark, Copyright & Media Practice Group in California. The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school, active California bar admission, and 2+ years in trademark and copyright litigation and counseling.

Strong trial experience and a client-first approach are essential. The role offers hybrid work in locations including Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, or Palo Alto, with exposure to high-profile IP

Qualifications

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing.
2+ years of substantive experience in trademark and copyright litigation and counseling.
Strong trial experience and comfort with fast-paced, high-volume practices.
Experience with trademark clearance and prosecution strategy; portfolio management; ownership matters; licensing and fair use issues.

Responsabilités

Counsel clients on development, protection, commercialization, licensing, and enforcement of trademark and copyright assets.
Advise clients regarding trademark clearance, prosecution strategies, and portfolio management.
Handle trademark and copyright disputes and litigation matters as needed.
Provide guidance on ownership, licensing, and fair use issues.
Draft and negotiate IP provisions in commercial and corporate transactions.
Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, memoranda, and client communications.
Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering strategic, business-focused legal counsel.
Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to develop innovative solutions.
