Top-10 AmLaw firm in California is seeking a Trademark, Copyright & Media Associate Attorney to join its nationally recognized practice. This role focuses on counseling and litigation across media, technology, and consumer sectors, with a hybrid work model and significant client contact.

Ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school, California bar, 2+ years in trademark and copyright litigation, strong trial skills, and AmLaw 100 experience preferred.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academics.
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing.
• 2+ years of trademark & copyright litigation and counseling experience.
• Strong trial experience and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume practice.
• AmLaw experience preferred; ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients on development, protection, commercialization, licensing, and enforcement of trademark and copyright assets.
• Advise on clearance, prosecution strategies, and portfolio management.
• Handle disputes and litigation matters as needed.
• Provide guidance on ownership, licensing, and fair use issues.
• Draft and negotiate IP provisions in commercial and corporate transactions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, memoranda, and client communications.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver strategic, business-focused counsel.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to develop innovative solutions.
