Job summary

Focus Partners is seeking a Trade Execution Manager in the United States to support day-to-day trade execution and operations. You will review orders, transmit trades to custodians, and resolve trade errors while monitoring action items for the team.

The role offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days in office per week and up to 2 remote days. Base pay ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 annually plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in financial services required.
• Experience working with RIAs and Independent Financial Advisors a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Applications
• Orion Eclipse Software and Envestnet experience preferred.
• Fidelity and/or Schwab platform experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Desire to take ownership and provide the best customer service in the industry
• Energetic self-starter with an extremely positive, can-do attitude
• Strong organization skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Must work well in a team environment, supporting others and filling in as necessary
• Must be able to prioritize and switch tasks as needed

Responsibilities

• Transmit trades through our Trading platforms.
• Review, process, and document trade errors.
• Answer incoming advisor questions regarding trades and trade correction.
• Reconcile trades to ensure proper execution and identify unexecuted orders.
• Assist Portfolio Trading Strategists and Advisors executing complex trades (Illiquid Investments, Options, Large Block Trades, Restricted Stock).
• Work with Custodians via Phone/Email to rectify NIGO items.
• Conduct security research as needed.
• Assist with other Trading Operations processes.
