Job summary

Green Key Resources seeks an Operations Associate to join a leading hedge fund's Middle Office Trade Support team in New York. Hybrid work with four in-office days per week, offering exposure to portfolio managers and investment teams while supporting the daily trade flow of fixed income and listed futures in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with trade capture, lifecycle events, reconciliations, and issue resolution, while driving process improvements and maintaining accurate records

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of middle office/trade support experience.
• Strong knowledge of fixed income products (rates, credit, bonds).
• Experience supporting listed futures and understanding lifecycle events.
• Proficient in daily reconciliations, settlements, and exception management.
• Excellent communication with front-office professionals.
• Strong attention to detail in fast-moving environments.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with OMS/PMS platforms and prime broker systems.
• Experience in multi-PM or multi-strategy hedge fund environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key point of contact for portfolio managers, responding to trade-related inquiries and operational requests.
• Support trade capture and lifecycle management across fixed income products and listed futures.
• Monitor expiries, cashflows, corporate actions, resets, rollovers, and other lifecycle events.
• Investigate and resolve trade breaks, booking discrepancies, P&L inquiries, and settlement issues.
• Perform daily cash, position, and trade reconciliations.
• Partner with Risk, Product Control, Fund Administration, Technology, Settlements, and Operations teams.
• Coordinate issue resolution with prime brokers, custodians, and counterparties.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and help enhance operational efficiency across the platform.
• Maintain accurate books and records while ensuring timely processing of all trade activity.
