Job summary

Geode Capital Management, based in Boston, MA, seeks a Trade Operations Associate to support daily trading and investment operations. You will collaborate with portfolio management, compliance, and trading teams to manage corporate actions and ensure deadlines are met.

The role requires 3+ years in corporate actions, strong analytical and communication skills, and Excel proficiency; familiarity with SimCorp Dimension, Bloomberg, and SQL is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of corporate action experience, including voluntary and mandatory events, elections, and dividend reconciliation.
• Ability to understand corporate action terms, determine expected entitlements, and manage election deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and operational risk.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL and Bloomberg is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with portfolio management, compliance, and trading teams to support day-to-day trading and investment operations.
• Process voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, review event details, request elections, and follow up to meet deadlines.
• Reconcile elections, expected cash and security proceeds, and dividend payments; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Support daily cash and ETF operations, including cash and position reconciliations and creation/redemption activity.
• Produce timely and accurate metrics and other analytical reporting for portfolio management, trading, as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate to identify continuous improvement opportunities within the trade operations team.
• Adhere to Geode’s operational policies and procedures.
