Job summary

Kinder’s is seeking a Trade Finance Manager onsite in Walnut Creek, CA, to lead the analytics, reporting, and optimization of trade investments. The role collaborates across Sales, Operations, Accounting, and Strategy to improve visibility and ROI of promotional spend.

The ideal candidate brings deep financial rigor, technical expertise in Excel, Power Query, Power BI, and VBA, and a track record of building end-to-end reporting pipelines in a growing CPG environment.

Qualifications

5+ years in trade finance, sales finance, or related analytics role, preferably in CPG.
Advanced Excel, Power Query, Power BI; hands-on VBA automation.
Experience mapping data from multiple systems (TPM, ERP, syndicated data) into reports.

Responsibilities

Own analytics and reporting architecture for trade — dashboards, automated reports, and sales-facing communications.
Build scalable tools using advanced Excel, Power Query, Power BI, VBA, and approved AI-enabled tools to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
Extract, transform, reconcile, and load data from the TPM system, syndicated data, and other sources into a single, reliable reporting source.
Set the technical standard for how trade data is structured, validated, and maintained; identify and fix data-quality issues at the source rather than working around them.
