Job summary

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission seeks a Toll Systems Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure tolling transactions and related systems perform to spec. You will drive QA across the SDLC, develop test strategies, analyze data, investigate defects, and coordinate testing with vendors and internal teams to maintain high reliability in a live tolling environment.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of experience in information technology, auditing, accounting, and/or business administration OR four (4) years plus a bachelor’s degree in related fields.
• Valid driver’s license; must obtain PA license within six months of employment.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work with vendors, consultants, and technical project teams.
• Experience with system testing, validation, and defect tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance activities across the SDLC from requirements to post-implementation validation.
• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts with acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate functional, integration, regression, system, performance, and UAT testing across tolling systems.
• Analyze transaction data, system reports, and logs to identify anomalies and performance concerns.
• Review technical documentation and ensure quality is built into projects.
