Job summary

McCarthy & Holthus, LLP. in Plano, TX seeks a Full Time Support Staff to review title reports, document results, and establish an accurate chain of title. You will identify issues and initiate curative actions, communicating findings to clients and supporting department goals.

The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Onsite work 2–3 days weekly after a 90-day training period with standard hours.

Qualifications

• 2-3 Years real property title experience.
• Must have knowledge of county real property records, and what constitutes a valid lien.
• Must be able to proof read with precision and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review of title reports completely and accurately.
• Documenting & communicating review results to client.
• Establishing an accurate chain of title, preparing and/or requesting assignments.
• Identify title issues & communicate them to the client.
• Initiate title curative actions, and follow up on title issues.
• May perform other duties as assigned to support department goals.
• May occasionally work extended hours based on operational needs.
