Job summary

Modern IT is an MSP focused on proactive alignment of client technology. You will benchmark LAN/WAN, configurations, and endpoints, and lead client-facing discussions to translate findings into actionable risk and business value.

The role emphasizes documentation, SOP development, and a proactive service delivery model. Based in the La Verne, CA area with hybrid onsite work, you will collaborate with the Technology Alignment team to drive standardization, reduce reactive work, and deliver

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on infrastructure experience (LAN/WAN, servers, endpoints, RMM and security tooling).
Ability to benchmark systems against standards and translate findings to client-facing risk and business value.
Strong documentation skills for SOPs, checklists, and a technical library.
Professional client communication; capable of leading client meetings onsite.

Responsibilities

Benchmark assigned clients' LAN/WAN and configurations against MSP and industry standards.
Run BDOS/EDOS service day meetings and deliver the Service Day Deliverable with 90% proactive work.
Close misalignments to reduce tickets per endpoint and improve resolution times.
Build and maintain client technical documentation library and SOPs.
