IT Solutions in St. Louis, MO seeks an Engineer, Technical Alignment to support our Technology Alignment Department. You will provide proactive IT services to clients in the Greater St.

Louis area, ensuring networks operate smoothly while reducing reactive support. This role reports to the Technology Alignment Manager and collaborates with multiple departments. Responsibilities include onboarding/offboarding, proactive monitoring, on-site maintenance, documentation, and seamless escalation when

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, and/or 1-5 years of proven technical support experience.
• Microsoft, Citrix, Sophos, Cisco, Comptia certifications are a plus.
• Experience with MSPs, VMware, Windows Servers, RMM, and PSA recommended.
• Strong Windows Server admin and support skills; patch management experience.
• Backups/Disaster Recovery knowledge and tools are essential.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to established Technology Alignment processes and policies.
• Assist with client onboarding/offboarding.
• Provide proactive IT support ensuring networks run smoothly.
• Monitor and remedy client infrastructure issues promptly.
• Perform regular on-site proactive services to reduce reactive support.
• Document system reviews, recommendations, and procedures.
• Escalate issues to the Technology Alignment Team Lead as needed.
• Attend internal/external meetings and support other departments.
